What is the Action?:
Brinjal (baingan), is the king of vegetables which comes with its own crown! We, a set of volunteers from the “I am No Lab Rat” campaign, are organizing a day long event that will celebrate the diversity of Brinjals and contemplate our role in protecting it. Come and interact with Brinjals in Delhi to learn more about it’s culture.
Where will this action be taken?:
Venue: Dilli Haat, INA Market Opp Date : 18th July, 2009
Time : 10:30 hours to 21:30 hours
Who all are involved?:
Inauguration by Kiran Walia, Minister of Health, Delhi State @ 11.30 AMSunita Godara, 1992 Asian Marathon Champion to be the chief guest and the judge of cooking competition at 17.30 hours
What do you wish to achieve?:
Create awareness about harmful effects of genetically modified foods
